1. I'm new here and I'm completely lost!

Don't panic. Read on and find out! There are probably thousands of orphaned pets in Neopia. And agencies like us are places to help them find a new home to love and care for them. The orphanage is a place to advertise your foster pet. Let's say for example, you have a pet that you want to help and find a new home for. Then place an ad and other members might see the ad and eventually will apply to adopt your pet!

2. How do you foster a pet?

3. It's been 5 days and my ad is still not showing up!

This means that your ad is not approved. Either your message was in-appropriate or your pet does not have a note on their description page saying that they are up for adoption. Please try again after you've double checked your submission.

5. How do I adopt a pet successfully?

First Step: You and your foster owner must meet on an instance chat. (MSN, Yahoo)
Second Step: Make sure your foster owner has enough money for the pet. The amount of fee depends on the pet's level.
Third Step: http://www.neopets.com/process_adopt.phtml?pet_name=THEPETNAME

This is the URL for transfering the pet. Make sure to replace the ending with the pet's name spelled correctly.
Fourth Step: The foster owner should count down "3, 2, 1" and abandon the pet, at the same time, you must refresh the page. And the pet will automaticly be adopted.

Warning: No one can guarantee that you will get your pet. There is a certain risk of doing a transfer. It is against Neopets rules to ask for the pet back.
